PUBLIC PERFORMANCE

Sustainable development and urban mobility are two important components for improving the quality of life of Sinaia residents.

With European funds, within the "Eco-Bus" project whose funding was approved in April 2019, Transport Urban Sinaia benefits from the change of the entire local public transport park with hybrid buses.

Through the implementation of this project, it is desired to develop a high-quality and efficient public transport of passengers within the city, by increasing the capacity of public transport, expanding road routes and modernizing the transport system by introducing intelligent traffic management and e-ticketing systems.

The intended benefits of the project include ensuring a direct positive impact on the reduction of CO2 equivalent emissions in the city of Sinaia through the use of environmentally friendly, non-polluting buses and promoting the use of the non-polluting public car transport system by passengers within the city instead of private car transport.
